IRS Works to Curb Illegal Immigration

The IRS Form I-9 is being used as a control for illegal immigration by identifying which workers are on U.S. work sites and to weed out workers with illegal status and of course, potential terrorists. Usage of the new I-9 form is required for business no later than December 26, 2007. On the business side of life, employers cannot demand more information from anyone that speaks or looks differently or has a foreign name unless every person in the employment-screening process is subjected to the same scrutiny. ~ W.
