U.S. Crisis: Obama Speaks His Mind

“We can’t steer ourselves out of this crisis if we’re heading in the same disastrous direction. We can’t steer ourselves out of this crisis using the same old map, we can’t steer ourselves out of the crisis if the new driver is getting directions from the old driver, and that’s what this election is all about.” Las Vegas, 9/17/2008

The key is keeping ALL the old drivers away from the steering that brought this nation to the brink of financial collapse. We need new thinking, not the same old hackneyed balderdash the resides in Congress, the Treasury or the Federal Reserve. Whether you like Obama or not, he is on the right track. Doing the same old stupid things while expecting a different result is insanity. Too bad the current administration hasn’t figured that out yet. ~ E. Manning
