Yet again, the British banking industry has taken another hit because of unsecured and “sub-prime” creditors. The Financial Service Authority, a quasi-judicial that regulates financial services in the United Kingdom, ordered the London Scottish Bank to increase reserves to cover the losses to the tune of 13 million British pounds.
