Black and White Thinking of Hillary Clinton

April 21, 2008

One idea seems certain. If you don’t like any shades of gray in your thinking, you probably love Hillary. Hillary Clinton has proved that the way that she judges any given set of circumstances as different as black and white. In other words, Hillary is really into situational ethics.

She may think in shades of gray, but she doesn’t express herself that way. After winning the first election, in 1994 President Bill Clinton was ruminating policy at Camp David about his support for working class “southern whites” that had abandoned him during the election. “Screw ’em. You don’t owe them a thing, Bill. They’re doing nothing for you. You don’t have to do anything for them.”

You have witnessed her reactions in her presidential campaign. She thinks of herself as the underdog that must fight her way. She constantly seeks to focus on a bad guy; any bad guy will do to prove her point. Her concept of self and politics is all about polarity. The recent “Move On” debacle is just one example of her dualistic personality. Today a friend, tomorrow an enemy. Pander to Pennsylvania today. Tomorrow?

One impassioned truck driver stated that Obama says “people are weak, dumb and naive, and they are seeking religion as a way of getting through.” That is black and white polarized thinking that doesn’t take into account any facts or feelings other than personal hurt. Perhaps the idea is all about pride and sensitivity. Pennsylvania doesn’t want to be turned into a stereotype. Happily, that is not the case. In fact, Mr. Obama was man enough to apologize that his statement was misunderstood and that no hurt feelings were intended. The more important question is where the Clintons were for Pennsylvania when Bill Clinton was in office.

The struggle for the 85 percentile “white vote” in Pennsylvania persists for another day. The more article quotes you read from otherwise intelligent Americans, the more you understand that some Americans still don’t have it together. Perhaps Americans don’t need facts. Appearances are more important.

Ethics is a place where some Americans never go. Ethics imply principles. Life is easier when you operate solely based on the feelings of the moment. When feelings are the whole basis for life, nothing but feelings matter. Life is much easier because you are never wrong.

“Screw ’em. You don’t owe them a thing, Bill. They’re doing nothing for you. You don’t have to do anything for them.” Payback is hell. The words ring in your ears. Are you next?

Check your facts: The Clintons won nothing in 2004. 1994. whatever.

Actually, on balance you are right. They lost far more than they won that year. The fact is correct, the comma was not. ~ E.M.

While reading these comments tonight, I was watching Larry King interview Jamal Simmons, an Obama supporter, and Kiki soebody, a Clinton supporter. I was moved to respond to the charge that Obama is running a negative campaign. What a load of dishonesty–the pot calling the kettle black!

Obama, during the ABC debate last week, was so disgusted with the line of questioning on petty inconsequential issues for nearly an hour, that he wsas practically speechless. He was there to speak on issues that are of concern to every sensible American that is not “independently wealthy”–the economy, the Iraq war, rising health care costs, greedy oil barons gouging the world economy, ungrateful manufacturing executives without conscience but well-endowed with greed who are abandoning and discarding the American workers who have masde them their fortunes, and our current corrupt government which is raping the American public without using a lubricant by hocking our financial well-being to the Chinese who repay us by sending poisonous products for use in our hygiene routines and our children’s toyboxes!!! At the same time, Clinton was in her petty mean-spirited element by participating in the mudslinging with both hands and feet!! With the lack of any standard of decency exhibited by Clinton, she does not deserve to be the President of the United States.

She is demonstrating that she is willing to rut around in the mud the same as the current administration–by making good on the deals made with those who gave her money for her campaigns, this one and the one in New York.

Clinton actually referred to her primary campaign as “civil”. Puh-leeze!!!!!

Like I cautioned, “Don’t get me started!”

Do you believe in: “OF THE PEOPLE; BY THE PEOPLE; FOR THE PEOPLE”?????????

If so, come look at: http://www.networkvoice.org
We are trying to create a network of Americans who can collectively express their opinions on the issues of the day. Decision makers rely on pollsters to tell them how you think. Come join us and tell them yourself.

This network will endeavor to present both data and opinions from all sides of an issue. This will allow you to formulate your opinion and respond to our survey so that we can publish the true pulse “Of The People”.

As a member of this network, you will present your opinions to the legislative and administrative branches in the government. This independent communication will counteract the special interests and the lobbying groups. This united and independent presentation is the “By The People”.

A major effort of the network will be to change the way that the government interacts with you. Two hundred years ago, communication was by quill on paper and then delivered by courier on horseback. Today we have modern methods like instant messaging and live video. How do you talk to your legislator? Do you talk to your legislator? Does your legislator talk to you???? Changing this relationship is the “For The People”.

If you want to be part of this, then come review our first efforts and join the network.

Also, we ask that you extend this invitation to all of those in your address book. Please forward this to them. Be a friend; let them make the choice, don’t make the choice for them.

I think everyone has to realized that obama is winning the republican states. but in the general electiron the democarats will lose those anyways and that hillary is winning in the bigger and democrat states. so if you want democrats to finally win she has to be the candidate. also she is more central to get some of the more central republican voters to vote for democrats.

But as its looking right now it looks like the republicans are going to win. Democrats won’t do what it takes to win while the republicans do.
